The Leavitt Institute for International Development has successfully completed its annual National Adversarial Proceedings Competition among law students in Ukraine. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the competition this year was held virtually via Zoom.
The event took place the week of April 27 with law students from Kyiv and Kharkiv participating. More than 30 students took part in the competition, and 16 students advanced to the national round. All the students demonstrated exceptional levels of preparation and performance.
We would like to congratulate our 2020 winners — Iryna Rekrut and Anna Madei from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Thank you also to our international professionals and the judges of the competitions: Ed Marks, Steven Montgomery, Thomos Glassman and Jesse Stricklan.
